Training Opportunity: Safer Together
An in-person, 90 minute child abuse prevention training for adults who want to learn more about how to report abuse and keep kids safe.
Safer Together is a presentation aimed towards youth serving organizations, parents, and any other adults who want to learn more about the prevalence of child abuse and what they can do to prevent it. It focuses on three parts: knowledge and awareness, recognition and reporting, and prevention strategies. The presentation lasts approximately 90 minutes and guests are encouraged to participate in anonymous answers through QR codes and small group work at their own comfort level.

Now in its 9th year, ¡Conéctate! brings together Latino-serving organizations, community members, faculty, staff, students, and community partners from across Eastern Oregon to engage with keynote speakers and interactive workshops focused on healing, storytelling, and community connection. Participants will also share practical approaches that support student persistence, leadership development, and long-term success.
VOCES de la Comunidad Conference
Join advocates, survivors, artists, and service providers for a powerful gathering centered on healing, culture, and community. This year’s theme uplifts survivor voices and explores how art—through dance, poetry, visual arts, and music—can inspire healing, resistance, and transformation.
VOCES de la Comunidad is a bilingual event. Workshop presentations will be presented in either Spanish or English. Interpretation services will be provided.
