MAP Oregon

Mapping Assets for Prevention (MAP) Oregon is a collaborative project aimed at building a community-led approach to preventing violence and abuse across Oregon.

Phase 1

In 2025, Prevent Child Abuse Oregon (PCAO), the Center for Childhood Safety and Wellbeing (CSAW), and Our Children Oregon (OCO) engaged partners across the state to establish shared definitions and key assumptions about the ecosystem of prevention in Oregon. Then we engaged these same partners (and more) in a survey to understand the strengths and gaps in that same ecosystem.

The Final Report and Executive Summary for MAP Oregon Phase One are now available!

Phase 2

MAP Oregon Team engaged with various community experts, parent networks, and youth spaces in offering feedback to MAP Oregon's approach and resources. We are so grateful to all our partners who helped inform how this project collects community input to inform prevention efforts in Oregon!
