PCAO Program Updates
Media & Health Promotion Session in partnership with Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force
PCAO staff traveled down to Eugene this month to attend Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force (SATF) Comprehensive Prevention Training. This 3-day training brings preventionists from across the state to connect, learn, and design creative prevention strategies to bring back to their communities! On day one of the training, PCAO staff and SATF staff facilitated a fun breakout session at Art House theater where participants watched media clips and discussed themes that connected back to wellbeing and health promotion!
One discussion question we offered to the group that we invite you, dear reader, to reflect on: “What was a piece of media that has had a positive impact on you as a young person?”
